Pet care experience
Being raised in a home with 3 standard poodles, I was constantly surrounded by animals as a child. My family was very involved with poodle rescue, we almost always had at least one foster in the house in addition to our three. Our whole family was very involved with each new addition, so how to properly take care of an animal was pretty much drilled into my head at a young age. As I got older my love for animals only grew, taking care of my own cat, Moo, has been rewarding and fulfilling for over 10 years now. I've had the pleasure of dog/ pet sitting for family, friends, clients, and referrals over the years, and have experience with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Services include walking, drop-ins, overnights, feeding, play, giving medicine, etc.

Leah was my best dog sitter for both my senior babies before they passed in 2019. I had a Pug and a Golden/Terrier mix the size of a Golden. My babies were on strict medications and diets which needed very careful administering. Leah lovingly kept them healthy, happy, and safe when I went out for a few hours or a few days. She was a life-saver for me! I would highly recommend Leah for your fur babies of any age, be they cat or dog!
Leah has had a life long affinity for animals. We had two dogs and a cat in our family, plus a succession of foster dogs for many years. Leah has always been kind, affectionate, playful and extremely conscientious with their care. Beyond responsible, I would describe her as intuitively attuned to their needs.
Leah is a wonderful pet caregiver to work with. She is a great communicator, flexible, and punctual. Our cats (Neko and Crookshanks) and dog (George) warmed up to her quickly, and they are so excited when she comes to visit for a walk or to stay for the weekend. Our dog George is large and young with lots of energy, and she wears him out in the best way! While providing enriching activity and affection for all of our pets when sitting, Leah takes extra care to monitor the special needs of our older cat (Crookshanks), who receives medication a couple of times a day. We love getting photo updates from walks with George or while she is pet sitting everybody; we know our pets are in good hands. We recommend Leah for any family looking to find a reliable, loving pet caregiver!

A typical day
Happy to provide walks around the neighborhood, trips to the dog park, Kate sessions, dog beach, maybe a trip to grab some coffee and show them off :) or we can stay at home and play in the yard. I have all the love to give and will make sure your pet gets all the pets and cuddles while you are away.

I am currently pursuing a career in yoga and have a very flexible schedule while we wait for that to kick off ;) I work for a catering company a few nights a week but this is also not a set schedule.
